Kazak Rugs: Colored Interstice Rug Borders

For my rug studies I use a modeling system where I see trends, base theories on the trends and then test the theories. Here at this point I feel I have detecetd a trend. I propose that the coloring in of the calyx leaf border in Kazak Rugs is caused by Armenian weavers copying traditional Azeri designs. Since the weaver lackes the context of the tradition
