Vermutlich stammt dieser Teppich aus der kleinen
Stadt Canakkale, die in der Küstenregion der
Dardanellen liegt. Dafür sprechen seine Struktur
und die Farben. Die Komposition ist erstaunlich
offenflächig angelegt, mit wenigen wuchtigen
Motiven, wodurch das Stück größer wirkt als es
tatsächlich ist. Bei Besim ist ein anderes
Exemplar der Gruppe abgebildet. – Seiten
original, Reste der Kelimenden noch vorhanden,
einige abgenutzte und restaurierte Stellen im
Flor.

Presumably this carpet comes from the small
town of Canakkale, in the coastal region of the
Dardanelles. To speak its structure and colors.
The composition is amazing offenflächig created,
with a few powerful motives, which the piece
greater effect than it actually is. At Besim is
another copy of the group. -- Pages original,
remains of the Kilim ends still exist, some worn
and restored posts in Flor.
