The American Pasha's 1997 Christmas Party Second Page
The American Pasha's party was held immediately following a lecture on Mamluk Carpets by one of the pre-eminent experts in the field. It is fun to note that we had people from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Delaware, the District of Columbia as well as England and Turkey.

Mawardi is also a Harvard trained nuclear physicist who works in fusion research as well as being a wine expert. In the fore ground we have Leninesque collector/dealer R.
