Fine Furniture and Carpets
Including Property from Newton Surmaville, Somerset
Sale: L08300 | Location: London, New Bond Street
Auction Dates: Session 1: Wed, 05 Mar 08 10:00 AM
Some of the lots that caught my eye include Lot 20 A Beshir Main
Carpet, Lot 32 one of the prettiest Heriz Carpets I have seen in a
while, and Lot 40 a classic Bidjar carpet. The sale has a bigger focus
on Furniture but the Rugs are well worth a look.
Kish Carpet Fair April 29 - May 2
2008 I have been to Kish twice and I hope to
get to this show as well. Kish is a Free Trade Zone and No Visas are
required even for Americans. The dollar is welcome and it still buys
good value compared to almost anywhere else in the world. If you are
interested in visiting Kish let me know and I should be able to help. I
find it safer and friendlier than anywhere else in the world.
Armenian
Rugs Society Names Megarian President At the Armenian Rugs Society board
meeting held on February 9, 2008, John Megerian, vice-president of the
society for the past year, was installed as the new president. He
replaces Levon Der Bedrossian, who decided not to continue as president
for a second year. Joseph Bezdjian, a former ARS president, was
installed as the new vice-president; he will also oversee any bay area
activities of the ARS. Karleen Hall, secretary, and Lorraine Amirian
Parker, treasurer, will remain in their current positions.
Hello,
I have built more than 30 special websites called Squidoo Lenses. These
are more than just simple websites because you can add your links to
them without my help or even permission. I have had them up for over a
year and in some cases they rank higher than www.SpongoBongo. com or www.PersianCarpetGuide.com If you
have a website visit my Squidoo Lens and link to your site. Then add a
link from your site to the Lens. If you link from yours to mine and
mine to yours then you will be surprised at how effective the links can
be. By the way if you link to yours and do not return the link it is
not nearly as effective.

If you are interested in linking strategies let me know.

This is a classic type similar to ones that Eberhart
Herrmann sold a few years ago. Pay special attention to the flags on
the eight pointed stars of the border. The color is deeply saturated
and lustrous. . Again the picture does not do it justice.
