I was drawn to this piece as soon as I saw it. Great color and bold design make this a beautiful bag. However I have to say that I do not really know a lot about Kurdish rugs. We know that Kurds are a large minority groups in Iran, Turkey, Iraq, and Ngorno Karabakh. From what I have seen over the years this is a Northwest Persian Kurdish piece but I can not tell you what tribe or even Kurd or Kurmanji. Maybe as I get more of these posted I can get it sorted out. needless to say my lack of information does not take away from the fact that this is a beautiful piece.
