Kazak Prayer Rug, Southwest Caucasus, last quarter 19th century, rows of alternating "shield" motifs and flowering plants in red, ice blue, ivory, gold, tan, and blue-green on the navy blue field, ivory "arrowhead" motif border, (small corner gouge, end fraying, black corrosion), 5 ft. 5 in. by 2 ft. 9 in.
