Barry- I am delighted that this was posted, since it is one of those Guiness Book of Records efforts that I wished I had book-marked when I saw it earlier. Just the sort of surprise gift you would like to have delivered to the door of a modest suburban home. Assuming it is the same one-I can't imagine that there is too much demand for colossal Nains-it was offered on e-bay last year at an opening price of $1,000,000, with the added warning that the buyer would have to hire a forty-ton container to move it. (Was that the determining element that discouraged potential buyers?) The seller, who listed an Australian address, noted that, to give an idea of its scale, an SUV is parked up at the right-hand corner. Best regards. Ken Thompson |
