When I first got this rug I was struck by its similarity to the one at http://itsa.ucsf.edu/~ico/art/rugs/caucasian.html (below) mentioned in your pages although I suspect the color reproduction of that one is not all that good. The border on mine is very similar to one illustrated in Ralph Kaffel's article in Hali issue 103 page 87 plate 7
