This is a very pretty carpet. It reminds me of a carpet in the house I grew up in. My grandfather had beautiful taste in carpets and furnished a large old house in a comfortable style. I of course never got to meet him since he died in 1942 unfortunately most people in my family die at 63. I at times wonder if I will beat the family curse but of course it is sort of a blessing since no one ever dies before 63. My father made it to 63 despite a fair number (4) of bullet holes in him. I am more fortunate no one who ever shot at me had good aim. I try to find rugs that I like and I like this one very much. I also think it is one my father and Grandfather would have liked as well.
