CATALOGUE NOTE
The Morvadia workshop was established in Jerusalem in 1920, by a number of designers and weavers from the Bezalel School. Until its closure in 1931, the workshop produced carpets and rugs whose designs incorporated Art Nouveau influences, interpretations of traditional carpet patterns and Judaic motifs, as this example clearly illustrates.
