Red Carpet with Animals and Tree of Life, Karapinar. Hali 56 Pg 116 This Karapinar medallion rug was displayed in 1990 at the 6th ICOC in San Francisco. It was in a display by American architect Christopher Alexander. I don't see animals and I would not have called it a tree of life but Alexander saw animals and a tree and it was his rug.
