Dieser siebeneckige, rotgrundige Ersari-Asmalyk mit einer kleinen, dachartigen Spitze ist eng verwandt mit dem Asmalyk aus der Sammlung Hecksher, der 1996 bei der VIII. Internationalen Orientteppichkonferenz in Philadelphia ausgestellt war und sich heute im de Young Museum in San Francisco befindet. Beide Teppiche haben das gleiche Feldmuster aus blauen und grünen, mit einem Stern gefüllten und mit langen Doppelhaken besetzten Quadraten auf rotem Grund, deren weiträumige Anordnung dem Muster einen Ausdruck von Leichtigkeit verleiht. Das Feld ist nur seitlich und unten von einer Hauptbordüre eingerahmt. Beim Hecksher-Asmalyk besteht diese aus Saryk-Ornamenten, bei unserem Asmalyk aus Sternen. – Grobe Knüpfung im asymmetrischen Knoten. Sehr feine, fest gezwirnte Kettfäden aus braunem Ziegenhaar, hellbraune Wollschüsse, seidige Florwolle. – Schirazi und oberer Flachgewebeabschluß original, unteres Ende minimal reduziert, kleine Nachknüpfungen (restaurierte Mottenstellen), eine etwas niedrige Stelle unterhalb des Giebels, insgesamt in gutem Zustand.

Rough Translation: Designation:This seven-sided, red ground Ersari Asmalyk with a small, roof-like point is closely related to the Asmalyk from the Hecksher collection, which in 1996 was displayed at the VIIITH international conference of oriental carpet in Philadelphia and is today in de Young the museum in San Francisco. Both carpets have the same field sample from blue and green with a star filled and with long double hooks occupied squares on a red ground, whose spacious arrangement lends an expression of ease to the sample. The mian boder surounds the field on the sides and bottom. With the Hecksher Asmalyk this consists of Saryk ornamentations, with our Asmalyk of stars. - Rough attaching in the asymmetrical knot. Much, seidige Florwolle purifies firmly gezwirnte chaining threads from brown goats hair , light brown wool shots. - Minimum, small reweaving (restored moth places) reduces ski Razi and upper flat fabric conclusion original, lower end, a somewhat low place underneath the Giebels, altogether in good condition.
