Schon das kleine Format beweist das hohe Alter dieses seltenen Igdir-Hauptteppichs, eines turkmenischen Stammes, der zum Verband der Yomuden gehörte. Leuchtende, fast bunte Farben, das C-Gül-Ornament und eine spezifische Knüpfstruktur sind typische Merkmale der Igdir-Arbeiten. Ein seltenes Merkmal dieses schon bei Herrmann und bei Engelhardt publizierten Teppichs sind seine blauen Elems und die kleinen Palmetten an einem Ende. - Seiten neu umwickelt, Flor mit leichten Altersspuren, insgesamt guter Zustand.

Even the small format proves the high age of this rare-Hauptteppichs Igdir, a Turkmen tribe, for the Association of Yomuden belonged. Brilliant, almost vibrant color, the C-Gul ornament and a specific structure Knüpf are typical characteristics of Igdir works. An unusual feature of this when Herrmann and Engelhardt published his blue carpet and small Elems Palmetten at one end. -- Pages newly wrapped, Flor with slight traces of age, overall good condition.
