Red Coral Serabi Heriz Persian Carpet

Size: 7 foot 4 inch by 9 foot 8 inch.

This is an exceptional quality Heriz rug. The color and look is fantastic. These are some of the most attractive new Persian rugs that I have seen. We recently received a few of these and these are the best new Heriz carpets that I have ever seen.

This is a top quality Persian Carpet from the Heriz area. This rug is without flaw and in "As New" condition.

Heriz Carpet, Serab, Iran, 20th century.

Size: 7 foot 4 inch by 9 foot 8 inch.

Structure: Symmetrical knot. 10 knots per horizontal inch and 10 knots per vertical inch. 100 per square inch (1550 per square decimeter).

Colors: Salmon, crème, sky blue, royal blue, midnight blue, copper, hunter green, brown, soft yellow.

Yarn Spin: Z.

Warp: 3 ply white cotton.

Weft: 2 shots lavender cotton.

Pile: 2 wool singles.

Ends: Post-hitch wharf binding with 1 inch warp fringe.

Selvages: 4 cord overcastting salmon wool.

Handle: Heavy, durable, soft, dense.
