Size: 7 foot 7 inch by 10 foot 1 inch.

This is an extremely high quality Heriz carpet from Serab in the Heriz region. The wool is excellent and hard-wearing. The colors are in the tones demanded by today's most discerning buyers and decorators. Lately I have been seeing all the same rugs on eBay and I decided I wanted to offer something different. This latest collection has some truly beautiful rugs in fantastic quality. This is a beautifully proportioned classic Heriz carpet. This rug is without flaw and in "As New" condition.

With a knot count of 100 knots per square inch this an exceptional quality Serapi Heriz carpet.

This rug is from the Serab area near Heriz in Iran. It is hand-woven and is 20 to 30 years old and is in "As New" condition.

Heriz Carpet, Serab, Heriz Region, Iran, 20th century. Size: 7 foot 7 inch by 10 foot 1 inch. Structure: Symmetrical knot. 10 knots per horizontal inch and 10 knots per vertical inch. 100 per square inch (1550 per square decimeter) Colors:  Salmon, old gold, peach, navy blue, Columbia blue, Vanilla, copper. Yarn Spin: Z. Warp:  3 ply ivory cotton. Weft: 2 shots lavender cotton. Pile: 2 wool singles. Ends: Post-hitch wharf binding with 1 inch warp fringe. Selvages: 5 cord overcastting peach wool. Handle: Heavy, soft wool, durable, dense. Further Notes: Excellent "As New" Condition.
