Symmetrical knot. 7 knots per horizontal inch and
5 knots per vertical inch. 35 per square inch
(542 per square decimeter)
Yarn Spin: Z.
Warp: white Cotton.
Weft: Cotton 2 shot. blue.
Pile: 2 Wool singles.
Ends: Top 1 1/4 plain weave, warp fringe.
Bottom reduced warp fringe.
Selvages: wrapped in red wool.
Notes: The rug is in very good condition but
does have small areas of low pile due to moth
damage.
