Baluch Rugs: Baluch Type Afghan War Rug

Baluch Rugs: Baluch Type Afghan War Rug

Vivid Baluch Type War Rug

Excellent afghan war rug from the Chahar Aymaq people of the Herat area in what is now called Afghanistan. Very vivid war imagery, tanks, machine guns, assault rifles, and a surprising number of landmines. Afghanistan is strewn with landmines and many are quick to condemn the use of landmines. Landmines are used because they are a rebels weapon or one that can be used by an under funded army. I find it interesting to note that the countries where we hear the greatest out cry against landmines are the countries all have large amounts of conventional and nuclear arms.

Excellent Wool, Good Weave, Well Made!
