Mabasi Kilim
It is easy to buy very rare and
highly collectable pieces if you are willing to
spend a lot of money. This is one of those rare
opportunities to buy a truly rare piece and I
doubt it will sell for much.
This is a Kilim from Mabasi
Prison in Kabul. The prisoners wove these since
work was a prerequisite for eating. There are
some stains but the darker spots are shadow on
the Kilim.
