Note if you will the areas of offset knotting in the detail above. To make the design in the minor gul the weaver used some offset knotting. Offset knotting is a sign of age in Yomud weaving. The Yomut Juval is a textile container used by Turkmen as as a storage or pack animal bag. The Yomut Juval had a role in the wedding ceremony and in daily life.
