John Sommer is the son of a great woman
and a hero of the Christian Faith Norah
Lambert. Norah
with her sister Rose
Lambert figure prominiently in the history of Hadjin Turkey. The
Lambert sisters were Mennonite Brethren Missionaries who
refused to leave their posts even through the worst of

Francisco, a trustee of the Textile Museum,
Washington, DC, and president of the San
Francisco Bay Area Rug Society.

Merit from the American Association for State and
Local History, and Awards for Excellence from the
