Foy C. Casper Jr.
NORFOLK -- Foy C. Casper Jr., a longtime
resident of Norfolk, departed this life on Sept.

16, 1941.
He attended Oceana and Princess Anne high
schools and Randolph-Macon College. Mr. Casper
trained as a painting and sculpture conservator
at the Brooklyn Museum of Fine Arts, New York and
worked for many years as a private conservator in
New York and as a consultant in museums

In the mid-1960s he began a long association
with Jean and Walter P. Chrysler Jr., whose

City, West Palm Beach, Fla. and England. He was
an avid collector of fine paintings and
decorative arts, generously loaning works from

historical houses.
