Notes on Condition
Early pile carpets of the Shahsavan are very
rare, and we are therefore proud that we can
offer this piece. The present owner bought the
rug in 1976 at Lefevre & Partners, London.
Five horizontally cut and repaired folds
at the left side; new selvage; traces of age.
