An Iznik polychrome pottery 'ship' dish
Turkey, first half 17th century
decorated in two tones of cobalt-blue, green and
relief-red, with black outlines, the design of a three
masted ship amidst a sea with two fish, the rim with
stylised breaking wave motifs
