Southeast Turkestan, circa 1880.

Warp: wool, Z2S, natural ivory and brown.

Weft: wool, Z2S, natural light brown.

Pile: wool asymmetrical knot open to the left.

Density: 8-9H, 10-12V.

Sides: 1 cord of 4 warps wrapped in red wool.

Ends: remnants of stripped kelim, warp fringe.

Size: Approximately 2 ft. 9 in. by 1 ft. 9 in. (0.84 m. by 0.53m.)

Colors: purple brown, madder, indigo, blue green, saffron, ivory, natural brown.
