Salor Turkmen Torba,

Turkmenistan about 1900, 1ft.6in. x 4ft. 3in. 0.46m. x 1.37m.

£300-400 In every way typical, this chemche-gul torba is of interest for its lateness of manufacture; its dyes and handle indicate a date early in the 20th century and, like other rare Salor weavings, indicate continuing for longer than was once thought.
