Dodds Full Description:

A classic form with excellent proportions, spacing and beautifully drawn curled-leaf borders and complete double elems. Great colour, with details in blue-green, soft gold, dark indigo, terra cotta and brick red. Cf., Schurmann, Central Asian Rugs, pl. 29, p.195.

JBOC's Notes: The field devices and the skirts of this rug bear similarities to The Oriental Rug Collection of Jerome and Mary Jane Straka plate 5.(A mid19th century Yomud door rug.)
