Sultan Ibrahim Mirza was appointed Governor of Mashhad in 962/1554 - 5 . Ibrahim Mirza left Qazvin late February 1555 an arrived in Mashhad March of 1556. He then served as governor in Mashhad, Qain, and Sabzivar until 1574 when he was recalled to the capitol to serve Tahmasp in another capacity.
