N.B. This appears to be the kind of rug that I
would call Persian Timuri.
The field medallion, the main border, the guard
border, and the minor guard border are ones that
I see regularly in rugs I categorize as Timuri.
The color palette and the 4 cord selvage
cause me to think Persian rather than Afghan.
