Description A fine Yomut carpet, West Turkmenistan
The shaded fox-brown field with overall diagonal rows of large polychrome Kepse guls, in an ivory border serrated lozenges with stylised kotchak motifs between checkered, barber-pole and plain stripes, skirt with serrated and checkered lozenge together with plant motif and striped kilim at each end, slight localized wear
320cm. x 221cm.(10ft.6in. x 7ft.3in.)
