  Fine examples of flatwoven Turkmen juvals with great color are hard to find. This is a very good one. The tight groundweave is a strong madder red that is ornamented with brocaded, hooked "Memling" primary gols in indigo and white cotton. Wee defined secondary gols are diamonds with kotchak rams' horn designs at each apex and worked in brilliant pale blue and blue-green. Pale gold motifs accent the palette.
