The van Wieringen Eagle Gul Group 1 Mafrash
Recently a Eagle
Gul Group 1 Mafrash
emerged at a auction in Holland. Rob van Wieringen of
Nijmegen, Holland collected it and when I heard I
prevailed upon him to share his find with us.
What is a Eagle
Gul Group I?
"Group I: 3- and 4-ply pile yarn.

least one silk weft shoot, usually dyed red. Dark
red-brown field color. Primary gul is similar to
Moshkova's LIX,3. (Seven carpets listed and
illustrated.)" Golklan-Tukmenen
