Pair of Saryk Turkmen
part silk and cotton chuvals,
Pende Oasis, Turkmenistan about 1890-1910,
each 3ft.3in. x 5ft.7in. 1m. x 1. 79m.
One with small ink stain, both with slight
corrosion of cochineal dyed silk.
A very handsome pair of Saryk
chuvals with extensive use of silk and the white
piled in cotton typical of this period.Est:
