Warp: Wool, Z2S, ivory / light brown mix,
medium brown or dark brown twist, also dark brown
solid
Weft: Wool, 2Z, 2 shoots, red
Pile: Wool, symmetrical knot
Density: 9-10 horizontal, 12 vertical
Sides: Wool, 1 cord of 9 warps, overcast in
red and green stripes, a single tassel of solid
red, blue, navy or green approximately every 9
in.
Ends: Upper - knotted warp fringe, followed by
2 in. of red kilim with 1 in. band of narrow
stripes of blues and greens in center
Lower - 1/2 in. of narrow multi-striped kilim
of red, blues and greens, then 1/2 in. dark brown
kilim followed by cabled warp fringe
Colors: Deep madder red, deep terra-cotta,
ochre, bone, spruce green, indigo, cerulean blue,
mahogany, black
