to as "purple". This piece belongs in that

tasseled and flatwoven embellishments.
Approximately 3 foot 4 inch by 2 ft. by 3 in.
(103 by 069 cm)
Warps: Wool, Z2S ivory
Weft: Wool, 2Z mainly single wefted, natural
brown
Pile: Wool Z2, cotton white, asymmetrical
knot, open to the left, (some symmetrical knots
at edges)
Density: 11 12h 24 26v
Sides: Wool, single overcast, 2 pairs warps
wrapped together with red wool.
Ends: Kilim hemmed and sewn under.
Colors: Brown-red, rust red dark blue, blue
green, golden yellow, natural brown, white
cotton.
