Hello, Without knowing structure or seeing the back anything I can say is just a guess. But I do not mind guessing as long as I tell you it is a guess. My first thought was Kashan. Classical Persian medallion carpet with palmettes and two framing white guard borders. However I reject Kashan for a few reasons. The red is too blue which says East Persia/Khorasan. There are devices that intrude from the guard borders into the main border This is not usual in Persian carpets but it is seen in east Persia especially Kashmar.
